About the Owners
Derrick Kelley
Derrick Kelley has 6 years of experience in the retail and distribution segment of the spirits industry in Delaware. After graduating with a B.M. in Music Education from the University of Delaware in 2012 Derrick worked as a classroom music and theater teacher for four years before transitioning to the wine and spirits business in 2015. He cut his teeth at Frank’s Wine of Wilmington, where he unintentionally fell headfirst and deeply in love with a world that would become his future profession. He took a brief break from Frank’s to work for Vine Street Imports out of New Jersey and Monsieur Touton Selections out of New York.
After returning to Frank’s as the wine buyer he joined heavyweight-wine-distributor Winebow as a broad market sales consultant in 2018, shortly after receiving the Court of Sommeliers Certification award alongside his partner Riley Quinn. With Winebow Imports Derrick was influential in many of the bars, restaurants and retail shops we all frequent around the area providing a variety of services including beverage program planning, employee and customer education, and event planning.
In his spare-time you can find him rock-climbing, listening to his vinyl record collection, or searching local cities for the best cocktails and ramen with his friends.
Riley Quinn
Riley comes to Bin 66 after 13 years working in restaurant hospitality in Northern Delaware. After pursuing her degree in Fashion and Apparel Design at the University of Delaware Riley gave up silhouettes and inseams for stemware and inventory and started a tour-de-force of some of the most iconic restaurants in Delaware. Her knowledge and love of wine led her to Philadelphia where she received her Sommelier Certification in 2018 where Derrick was also pursuing his certification, and their unofficial partnership began.
Following her success with the Court, Riley went on to work for both Winebow and Southern Glazers (two of the largest wine and spirits distribution companies in the country) as a wine sales specialist, and finally, as a wine buyer and manager for her close friend Bill Galbraith at the Wine & Spirits Company of Greenville.
Riley brings a deep love for all things whiskey, Spanish reds, and funky French whites, along with a deep passion for competitive figure skating and a fabulous sense of style from her fashion days gone by. She is happy to show you the best of the wine and spirits world when you stop in to Bin 66 and Rehoboth Beach.
